Are Stonehouse vanity tops really as durable as other solid surface
vanity tops?
Yes. The innovative manufacturing process results in an approximately a 1/8" solid surface layer
fused to an advanced composite material resulting in a top that has all the
benefits of premium solid surface materials - impact resistant;
renewable/repairable; non-porous and easy to maintain.
If I have a unique size or shape vanity top, will it cost a lot more?
Our vanity tops are all custom and made to order at an affordable price. Special
sizes do cost a little more (additional angles, curves, etc.), but are still
affordable.
How long will it take to get my vanity top?
If you order a standard size (see Quick Ship) your order will ship 7 days after
the order is approved. If you order a custom shape (or special color
combination) your order will ship 21 days after the order is approved. See
How To Order for details on what is a Quick Ship and Custom product.
How do I maintain my Stonehouse vanity top?
GLOSS FINISH
For regular cleaning use any non-abrasive bathroom cleaner, liquid detergent, or
foam cleaner (e.g., Lysol Kitchen & Bath Cleaner®, 409®, etc.). Vanity tops with
a gloss finish may be periodically polished with Gel Gloss® or equivalent to
maintain shine.
For stubborn spots, stains and minor scratches - clean the area with an
abrasive cleaner or #600 sandpaper, apply 3M 06031 rubbing compound (or
equivalent) and hand rub. Next, buff your top with a 3M #05991 polishing
compound (or equivalent) to restore the gloss finish.
MATTE FINISH
Clean the area with an abrasive cleaner or #600 sandpaper. Next, buff your top
with a 3M #07448 gray scuff pad (or equivalent).

three drop-in bowl styles of our own which can be installed in your new or
existing vanity top.

bowl/vessel that I have or plan to purchase?

you want to use.
Can I order a vanity top without a bowl? Yes.
Stonehouse tops are a great product for laundry rooms, craft rooms and other
areas where you may be considering another counter top material.
What is the difference between a one-piece and drop-in bowl?
A one-piece bowl is a continuous, integral part of the vanity top - there are no
seams or edges.
Drop-in bowls are placed in a hole that is cut out of the vanity top. Caulk
is placed around the perimeter of the bowl to create a seal.
What is the difference between granite colors and ultra granite
colors? Our ultra granite colors contain larger flecks of solid
surface material. The different shades of flecks are more noticeable than our
medium and fine granite s, therefore creating a style that mimics the
look of real granite.
How stain-resistant is a Stonehouse vanity top?
Stonehouse vanity tops are non-porous which means they are impervious to
moisture and staining. Fingernail polish, makeup, and other bathroom items
simply wipe off the surface. If something does leave a stain on the top - it can
be gently sanded away in no time.
Can a Stonehouse vanity top be repaired?
Yes. Because a Stonehouse vanity top is approximately a 1/8" solid surface, it can be sanded and
buffed to remove scratches and blemishes to make the top look new again.
